About us

Theres not enough space in the city for your bike?

Not with us! We are rather of the opinion that your bike should not offer a place for vandalism and that no thief should even see it!  As a preventative measure, many of us carry their bicycles into the basement every day. Others lock their bikes in the stairwell - until the landlord forces them again to remove it.

„The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine.“

John Howard

These wise words of racing bike legend John Howard and the difficult parking situation inspired us to act. After many bicycle tours through Hamburg and intense internet researches we found a solution: wall mounts for bikes! Finally our trusted companions, a Cannondale SR-800 and a Cratoni Neon Sprint, got a new home: Our home!

The different designs and the product philosophy of individual manufacturers impressed us most during our search. Unfortunately there was a lack of overview. That was the founding of URBAN ZWEIRAD - the first online shop for bicycle wall mounts.

Back then it started as a duo, today it has become  a team of bicycle enthusiasts who want to continue pushing this free and environmentally friendly lifestyle. That's why we are always curious to find suitable products that make city life easier for you and your bicycle. This includes rucksacks, bags, handlebar tapes and paint spray. Here we pay attention to affordable, good quality articles, to be able to offer all bicycle lovers a better bicycle comfort.

Have fun exploring the shop!
